English Dub Review: The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows “Faction Infiltration”
Overview:
Zenos’ gets an invite to the Goldran Laboratory, and a chance to track down Becker’s missing student.
Our Take:
Zeno or Zenos, whatever you want to call him, has made some decent progress into his investigation. Goldran is one of the top healers in the school and is the most likely candidate to take over as leader of the shool when the current head retires. Zenos joins the students of the labratory on an trip that Goldran takes to heal someone. It seems that Goldran only offers his best healing to the rich and wealthy and thinks that poor people deserve less healing because of their inability to pay. If that isn’t a commentary on current socio-economic trends I don’t know what is.
What makes the way Goldran heals interesting is that he has to use other people. Essentially, depending on the severity of the injury he might need to borrow other people’s lifeforce to promote faster healing in someone. The individual he went to help had a bad sprained ankle and he needed to use three of his students lifeforce. As of now they’re saying all this does is leave the people a little exhausted but something tells me that taking someone’s lifeforce will have bigger ramifications than that.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
