English Dub Review: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction “Do You Love Cosplay?”

Overview:

Okumura and Ririsa don’t want to hide their activities from the school and decide to participate in an upcoming cosplay event as an official club activity.

Our Take:

I think we can all see where this is going. This celebrity cosplayer, Nagomi, is similar to Okumura. She will never love a 3-D boy and will stay faithful to her “husbando” for life. She even has a photo of the character in a locket, but it had a reflection of light going through it, so we couldn’t see the face. I’m going to guess that Okumura will bear a striking resemblance to this “love” of hers, and we will be in full-on harem mode. While she didn’t treat Ririsa awful or anything, I think it will also help their relationship because they seemed to have a large difference of opinion.

Ririsa and Okumura have decided they aren’t reviving the manga club but want to change into a cosplay club. Ms.Hanyuu isn’t too fond of this idea because she knows that people can be pretty mean when it comes to treating cosplayers. But Ririsa has decided that if she wants to be confident in her cosplaying, she has to be confident enough to let people know that she’s the one doing it. Her interaction with Nagomi didn’t help her newfound confidence, but it didn’t shatter it, which is a step in the right direction.
