Review: Krapopolis “Mazed and Kingfused”
Overview
Hippo accompanies Shlub on his journey to Minos; Ty gets glued to his throne.
Our Take
Krapopolis is nearing the end of it’s second season with only a couple of episodes left and this week we get an entry Josh Bressier that consists of Ty and Stupe getting into it on a prank contest and both Hippo and Shlub looking to get their freak on in Minos only to run into a bit of a snare and end up in the cross hairs of a full-fledged Minotaur.
Overall, both plots were so-so with minor laughs throughout though I’m going to give some extra points to Duncan Trussell who has been really impressing me with his voice acting abilities as of late. Like if you were to compare his first few episodes of the show up until now I would be thinking that we were getting two completely voice actors.
Speaking of voice actors, Krapopolis is continuing it’s tradition of having a glutton of new and returning voices with my personal favorite this week being Ronny Chieng mainly because I’m a Ronny fan and everything he does causes me to revel in joy. Other than that, a really standard variety episode that quite honestly ends with a short that might have been the funniest bit of the whole evening. In the future, I’d rather have what they’re having.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
