English Dub Review: Bye Bye, Earth ” Confrontation: A Wish Barely Clung To”
Overview:
Belle accompanies Gwyn to petition the king, but Adonis’s meddling in the castle has dire consequences.
Our Take:
I think I’ve found the best way to describe this show to people. It’s like a JRPG that you don’t play. What I mean by that is, a lot of JRPGs have heavily convoluted stories that make no sense. But usually, you would have some fun gameplay or something to go along with it, so grasping the story isn’t as big a deal. I like the characters, especially Belle, and I love that she and Adonis have reunited. But I would be lying to you if I said I understood what was happening.
I’m still holding out hope that by the time this series ends, I’ll understand somehow. Belle was talking to a younger version of herself, but it almost sounded like a robot. Based on what she said, I’m working on a new theory now. Something tells me that this is far in Earth’s future, and Belle was “preserved” or something and wasn’t meant to be awoken. As I’ve said, I have no idea what’s going on in this show, so that could end up being way off, but it’s how I’m staying invested.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
