English Dub Review: Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! “Elf Girl & Dragon Girl”

Overview

Stella continues making passes at Tama with her telepathic skills. Meanwhile, Tama feels uneasy as he watches her fight, driven by her old Earth dragon instincts.

Our Take

Following the previous episode’s events, Stella begins integrating into the adventuring party with her usual fiery energy. While inexperienced in working with others, her raw power and dragon-born traits quickly make her stand out. Her reckless behavior nearly leads to disaster during a dungeon dive, but a close call helps her recognize the importance of teamwork. As she trains and equips herself for her new life, Stella starts to shed her solitary instincts and embrace the idea of growing alongside her companions.

Later, while bathing in a hot spring, Aria and Stella spar verbally over who deserves Tama’s loyalty, only to find themselves laughing off Vulcan’s suggestion that they share him. Back at the guild, Stella registers as an official adventurer and accepts a mission from Reiss to escort a valuable shipment. She is stunned when she finds out the contents they’re supposed to protect…

Overall, Stella’s arrival breathes fresh energy into the team: her feral instincts and eagerness to learn human ways contrast beautifully with Aria’s grace and Vulcan’s pragmatism. The balance of heartfelt character moments, lighthearted banter, and just enough dungeon action keeps the series engaging without leaning too heavily on fanservice. Fans new and old will find plenty to love in this spirited addition to Tama’s ever-growing harem.
