Report: American Dad To Depart TBS

American Dad’s future at TBS has been getting murkier as we headed closer to the show’s season 21 finale slated to premiere March 24th. Now, TVLine is reporting that the episode, entitled “What Great Advancements” will be the show’s final episode at TBS as the network does away with scripted originals.

No word yet as to where the series will go from here, but with the series being one of the most-watched on Hulu and with Jeff Fischer recently posting a pic for a script read for an upcoming episode, a new home may already be on the way. Other obvious networks could be FXX who could be eyeing to take some of those big overnight numbers away from cable rival TBS.

In any event, the season 21 finale of American Dad drops Monday @ 10 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.

Synopsis:

Stan Smith leads the all-American family in this animated sitcom. Everyday life is taken to the limit as Stan applies the same drastic measures used in his job at the CIA to his home life. Driven by machismo and the American dream, he often is blind to how horribly he fails at his attempts.
