Netflix Confirms Third Season Of Record of Ragnarok
Just in case the third season news for Blood of Zeus wasn’t enough for you, Netflix has announced that the third season of Record of Ragnarok is now in production which will give streamers even more Norse god over-the-top violence to salivate over.
The third season gets a different production team than the first two with the series being animated by Yumeta Company and Maru Animation, and directed by Koichi Hatsumi, with Yasuyuki Mutō serving as the main writer, and Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima as new character designers. Yasuharu Takanashi returns to produce music.
Synopsis:
Before eradicating humankind from the world, the gods give them one last chance to prove themselves worthy of survival; let the Ragnarok battles begin.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
