English Dub Review: I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time “I’ve Waited Forever for the Centennial Festival, so I’m Gonna Enjoy It, No Matter What”
Overview
While Alina finally enjoys her first Centennial Festival, Lululee confronts the shadows of her past…
Our Take
This time around, we get a much-needed “Festival Episode” that brings a much-needed break for some characters, allowing them to enjoy lighthearted moments before chaos predictably erupts. Alina, often buried in work, finally gets to unwind with Jade, showing a softer side of herself. Meanwhile, deeper tensions resurface as old grievances and conflicts continue to shape the paths of key figures, with some seeking closure and others consumed by revenge. As plans unfold in the background, a dangerous plot begins to take shape, pulling the Silver Sword into action once again.
Despite moments of levity, the episode quickly shifts gears as a major threat disrupts the festivities. A daring heist, an ominous secret, and a misguided attempt to change the world collide, leading to high-stakes consequences. The clash between ideals and reality is at the heart of the unfolding conflict, as certain figures refuse to accept the flaws in the existing system. While some act out of desperation, others stand firm in their resolve to maintain balance, even at great personal cost.
Overall, this episode delivers a mix of emotional growth, intense action, and moral dilemmas, pushing the story toward a pivotal moment. The contrast between peaceful festival scenes and looming danger highlights the unpredictability of this world, keeping tensions high. With a formidable new challenge on the horizon, the stage is set for a dramatic confrontation that could reshape everything.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
