Scavengers Reign: Season Two Teased By Creator
No, the second season of Scavengers Reign hasn’t been ordered yet and according to show creator Joe Bennett that that decision doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon despite the series showing up on Netflix earlier this year in a hope to renew it. That said, that hasn’t stopped show creator Joe Bennett from giving us a sense of where the show’s second season could have gone as he has posted a teaser for it here.
Unfortunately, this teaser isn’t easing the pain brought by MAX for canceling Scavengers Reign and, in fact, his making the wound hurt that much more because season two sounds like it was going to up the ante. Bennett has noted that season two has more stories to tell and the hope is that Green Street Pictures will be able to one day tell it.
Scavengers Reign is an American adult animated science fiction drama television series created by Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner for Max, based on their 2016 short film Scavengers. The series follows the crew of a damaged deep space freighter are stranded on a beautiful but dangerous planet.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
