English Dub Review: Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World ”A Dark Torrent”
Overview
Subaru and his comrades find themselves in a dire situation after the city was taken over by the Sin Archbishops. Now, they are devising a plan to first RE:ZERO claim the city hall…
Our Take
This time around, the Sin Archbishop of Lust takes center stage as a terrifyingly unpredictable force, challenging Subaru and others in ways that push them to their limits.
The rest of the proceedings continue to excel in its ability to juggle multiple storylines without feeling rushed. From Subaru’s grueling encounters and the trauma of his time-loops, to the intricate dynamics among the other characters, every moment feels purposeful, while adding layers of suspense and complexity to the ongoing struggles.
Overall, this installment underscores the unrelenting challenges faced by the cast, keeping the stakes high and is pretty damn suspense and helps elevate the drama, perfectly capturing the chaotic and emotional intensity of the scenes. With its mix of strategic brilliance, emotional weight, and shocking twists, as it consistently continues to leave me wanting more, and that’s a good thing.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
