Voice Cast Revealed For Will Arnett’s Super Team Canada For Corus Entertainment

Canada’s adult animation scene seems to be getting more busy and more-so now with this rather big announcement. You may recall earlier in the year our reporting on Will Arnett’s upcoming adult animated comedy series with Atomic Cartoons called Super Team Canada. Welp, that series is currently in production for a 2025 start and Deadline has reported the rather impressive list of cast, an early guest star, and even a big-time artist for the theme song.

Will Arnett has been confirmed to be in the starring role of the upcoming series revolving six, little-known Canadian superheroes trying to save the world from evil giant robots, an unemployed octopus, and needy hardware store clerks. Cobie Smulders, Kevin McDonald, Charles Demers, Brian Drummond, Ceara Morgana and Veena Sood have joined the cast alongside Arnett. Jay Baruchel guest stars, and Bryan Adams performs the theme song for the show.

Whether or not this series sees American shores is anyone’s guess, but with an increasingly impressive cast, producers, and more, I would imagine it would be difficult for someone not to take a flyer on the ten-episode half-hour series. The series is created by Created by Canadian Emmy-winning writers, and brothers, Robert Cohen (HBO’s SOMEBODY, SOMEWHERE, THE BIG BANG THEORY) and Joel H. Cohen (THE SIMPSONS)
