Our Take
Hey! It’s Dana Snyder as the voice of Rotten the Snowman! (APPLAUSE!!)
In another sign that season two of Smiling Friends was supposed to premiere last year, we get the Christmas episode to accompany the recent Halloween episode that was also very good. A bit of good news is that this new episode premiere on Adult Swim is the first one I’ve experienced in a few weeks with NO audio issues so when the Lord giveth the Lord taketh away. But really, it’s great hearing from the brilliant Dana Snyder and this would’ve been a swell Christmas treat if we were airing this week’s episode during the actual holidays when there is sometimes snow on the ground instead of near July when, unless if hell freezes over, isn’t happening anytime soon. Sure, it’s better late than never, but this is like getting a gift card for Christmas and not spending until six months later.
Also of hilarious interest, Marc M.’s take on Bill Nye which might be one of the funniest sequences this show has ever done. Coupled with Snyder’s insane snowman rendition, and this is one fine way to end the second season of Smiling Friends. We’ve got a full season review coming for ya’ll next week, until then, have a Happy New Year!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
