English Dub Review: The Duke of Death and His Maid “The Duke, Alice, and the Wizardry School”

Overview:

The Duke and all his friends head off to the wizardry school, and Daleth follows as well.

Our Take:

As I said last week, all you need to do is mention a wizardry school and I’m in. I’m really glad that a third season has already been announced for this or I would be really upset because I think there’s only one episode left of this season which is not nearly enough time to really see what’s going on with this school. But what there has been enough time to develop is the character of Daleth.

A character that was originally hinted at to be the main villain of the series has turned into one of my favorites. The scars on her face gave her a villainous look to be sure but it turns out she’s a sweet and kind woman who just wants to be loved. Now if only Walter could figure out how much of a catch she is we would have three couples to root for in this series. But with how fast Zain and Cuff got together I don’t imagine we’ll be waiting long.

I don’t really know what else to say about this episode other than it was another great one. All of the characters I enjoy being in the same place make the wizard school even more of a joy for me. I can’t wait to see what teases for season three the final episode has.
