English Dub Review: The Devil is a Part-Timer! “The Hero Says for a Time”

Overview:

Emi takes a trip to Ente Isla. Those left behind in Japan spend a lot of time arguing about whether or not they’re worried.

Our Take:

I was hoping that something wild would start to happen but I didn’t expect it to go like this. Emi went to Ente Isla and she took Alas with her. Well, there seems to be some time travel shenanigans going on because Emi’s friend heard from her a week ago while everyone else hadn’t heard from her in weeks. The biggest thing I can say is that now I’m starting to get invested because this is beginning to look interesting.

The main thing that interests me about this potential is this character that keeps running into Maou. She looks a lot like Alas Ramus but she’s closer to the age of a teenager and seems to have a connection with Maou. Something tells me that she is Alas and there is something wild going on and I can’t wait to see what is happening. This anime is more fun and silly than anything but when it wants to get serious it can do it. Plus, you know I love shipping Emi and Maou together so maybe he can go save her if she’s in trouble.
