English Dub Review: The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far “Training”
Overview:
Cain begins training for his inevitable battle with the ultimate evil.
Our Take:
This episode picks up where the previous one left off. Cain meets Yuuya Hirasawa, the first king of Esfort. Yuuya tells Cain about a former God named Aaron. Aaron abused his powers, which led to him being sealed away for 300 years. His seal is starting to weaken, so Cain has to be prepared to fight him.
We see Cain train in a fashion similar to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from the Dragon Ball series. One year in this world is equal to one day in Cain’s world. Cain gets stronger, makes contracts with a couple of familiars, and even learns a little bit about his parents.
I think this is a good training episode. It clearly states its purpose and it gives us insight on important details that have only been hinted at up until now. It’s also nice to see Cain actually struggling in battle and being able to improve from that.
Silvia continues to be the most entertaining supporting character. She has great facial expressions and reactions in this episode. She also teaches Silk and Teles how to bake cookies for Cain. Overall, I actually like this episode. It took a while, but this show’s finally starting to pick up and I’m here for it.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
