English Dub Review: The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!“Saurva Can’t Catch a Break…”

Overview:

Saurva goes to the public bath to recover. However, isn’t that Jahy, just beyond the steam? Because a fight there would be bad, Saurva does her best to hide her presence, but for some reason, Jahy sits down next to her. To make matters worse, Jahy uses a ton of Saurva’s precious shampoo, truly adding insult to injury. On another day, the great Jahy is at a home improvement center to buy a weapon against the Magical Girl.

Our Take:

I feel sorry for a lot of Jahy’s former entourage. She treated them so badly that now they either have Stockholm Syndrome or extreme PTSD. For Saurva she at least has the sauna to go to but nope, Jahy shows up there too! She even uses her expensive shampoo, which after purchasing some myself I know how big a wound that can be. Luckily, Jahy’s manager was also there and she is really good at soothing away other people’s problems.

Then Jahy decides to spend her money “wisely” by going to what is essentially a Sam’s Club… Good luck. Just like what you’re thinking she spent her money on a bunch of stuff she didn’t need. She got a toy lightsaber to fight the Magical Girl for godsake. But she at least realized her mistake and helped out her boss with some of her purchases. Another week and no Magical Girl… lame.
