English Dub Review: I’m Quitting Heroing “A LITTLE BIT OF THOUGHT GOES A LONG WAY FOR EFFICIENCY!”

Overview:

Whose idea was it to put Lily in charge of logistics? Why are her proposals drawn up in crayons!? It’s up to Leo to give her a training and development course on teamwork.

Our Take:

That tagline was just to lure you in. Spoiler alert: Lily does actually learn the value of teamwork but in a roundabout exciting way. We learned a few things about Lily in this episode, but the coolest one was that she could transform into a wolf-type creature. Lily was probably my least favorite before this episode but I like her a bit more now.

Christina Kelly voices Lily and the best way I can think of to describe her voice is that it’s annoying but in a way you really enjoy. I’m not joking either, I really love her voice! One of the first roles I heard her in was as Kouka Kaga in Golden Time. HiDive dubbed that in 2020, or at least they released the episodes. If you want to get the full Christina Kelly experience give that one a shot!

I’m really looking forward to next week’s episode. The Black Onyx Knight(AKA Leo) has a meeting with Echidna. Does she know it’s him or is she just impressed with this new subordinate? I have no clue but Echidna is the one I am most intrigued by so let’s go!
