English Dub Review: Attack on Titan “No Regrets Part 1”

Overview:

Levi and his crew steal from merchants to scrape by in the dreary underground. They’re approached by a man from the surface for a job that could change their lives for the better.

Our Take:

I can never get enough of Levi. In fact, that was the only negative I can really think of when it came to the final season. Levi was sidelined for most of it so I was really excited to get to this OAD. I vaguely knew what Levi’s backstory was, but getting to see it come together will be really good. If the first episode is anything to go by it won’t disappoint.

Getting to see cleaning Levi make a reappearance was fantastic. While I don’t know the fates of the people following Levi, my guess is that nothing good happens to them which is a shame because they are fascinating characters so far. I swear I know Isabel’s voice actress from somewhere but I can’t quite place it. Once I know I will update you! Two voice actors I do know are Matt Mercer as Levi and J. Michael Tatum as Erwin. I LOVE getting to hear them again. It will be exciting to see how these two eventually became best of friends because their relationship got off to a very rocky start.
