English Dub Review: The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt “Holy Intrigue!”
Overview:
Wein heads to Cavarin for the Festival of the Spirit, but it is a perilous journey with Mardenian remnants in the borderlands and rebellious lords at home. In Marden, Wein forges an unlikely alliance, but the intrigue goes into overdrive.
Our Take:
If someone threatened to put potatoes in every one of my orifices I would probably take them pretty seriously. Especially, when it’s coming from Ninym but who knows maybe Wein is into that sort of thing. Ninym dyed her hair so as to not let on that she’s a flahm, but I really prefer the silver hair.
We got a lot of conspiracies tangled up currently and Wein seems to be smack dab in the middle of most of them. I really like the world-building for this and can’t wait to see where we go with it all. The main reason I like where it’s going is that I love to see how a Wein gets himself out of these problems. When a character can get themselves out in a super smart way it makes things all the more interesting, especially when it seems like all hope is lost.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
