English Dub Review: The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt “A Proposal as a Pretext”

Overview:

Wein’s dream about his academy days comes to life with a visitor. Lowa’s marriage proposal catches him off guard, and he wonders what she’s up to. He’s again caught off guard by her power move. Lowa dreams about a talk she had with Wein.

Our Take:

Isn’t it really awkward when an academy friend comes to visit but they turn out to be an Imperial Princess asking for your hand in marriage? No? Never happened to me either but wouldn’t it be nice? Lowellmina needs Wein’s help but he has no idea with what. Plus Wein is going to do everything in his power to get out of whatever it is.

With a new character, we get a new VA. Lowellmina is voiced by Alexis Tipton and honestly, it’s a character that is right up her alley. I watched a few episodes of the sub and when the dub cast announcements were made I knew she would do well with the character. I really liked the previous arc and I have a feeling this one will go well. Luckily, for us, it seems to just be getting started. I am personally very excited to see how Wein handles this newest problem.
