English Dub Review: Sasaki and Miyano “Feelings”

Overview:

Despite pouring over the issue, Miyano struggles to define how he feels about Sasaki. In a rare moment alone with Sasaki, Miyano works up the courage to address his feelings.

Our Take:

I know we usually want a confession and immediate resolution but given the nature of the relationship and the fact that Miyano is figuring himself out I kind of like him taking his time. Plus, it’s not like he’s trying to keep Sasaki on the line or something he just really respects him and wants to give him a well-thought-out answer.

I will admit that it is a little bit confusing because Sasaki did say when asked that he doesn’t like guys. But he clearly likes Miyano a lot. Perhaps that is the only guy he will ever like but I don’t know about that one. Seems like a slippery slope to go down. I definitely thought from the previews of this one that Sasaki would be the one that had questions about their sexuality but was the first to confess. I still think that Sasaki is the more developed of the two characters but we are definitely getting more interesting thoughts from Miyano lately.
