RWBY: Grimm Eclipse Gets Nintendo Switch Release as the “Definitive Edition”!

What started out as a fan-made game by fellow Rooster Teeth fan Jordan Scott, has now reached greater heights as his game “RWBY: Grimm Eclipse” for the very first time, is digitally moving onto Nintendo’s newest hardware as the “Definitive Edition” with exclusive couch co-op play and brand new outfits coming digitally to the Nintendo eShop on May 13th.

The game was previously released years ago on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and is based on Rooster Teeth’s popular animated series by the late Monty Oum about a team of students from the fictional fantasy world of Remnant fighting against evil forces. The show has recently reached its 100th episode earlier this year and the franchise itself was also been adapted into a number of other video games, including a Mobile match-3 puzzle called “RWBY: Crystal Match” and various characters from the show made the cut as playable characters in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.

To further commemorate this event, fans can enter the “RWBY Definitive Couch Co-Op Pack” Sweepstakes” for a chance to win one of three (3) ultimate RWBY prize packs, valued at $1,000 each, featuring deluxe RWBY merchandise. Each pack includes a limited edition Alpha Beowulf statue, a RWBY Grimm Street Fight print art set by artist Yin Shian Ng, the RWBY Semblance Sumi-E weekender bag, an RWBY x Ein Lee Ruby pint glass set, a RWBY Team RWBY throw blanket, a 1-year subscription to Rooster Teeth First, and a digital copy of the game for Nintendo Switch.
