Adult Swim News: New Run The Jewels ; Festival Announces Digital Event

 

Other than premiering a new music video for the group that looks like an episode of Lucas Bros. Moving Company, last night’s digital-streamed concert featuring Run the Jewels came and went for Adult Swim who did their best to get some turn out at the last minute with a feigned announcement of some Rick and Morty personalities showing up to the upcoming Adult Swim Festival happening November 13-14 only on the network’s Youtube channel.

There will also be a Toonami special edition, 20 musical performances including Mastodon(!!!!), and merchandise fundraising for the ACLU, all of which will happen 10 days after of which we have selected the new leader of the free world. Rick and Morty talent is expected to be in attendance, but hopefully we get some announcements for the network’s Winter 2020 premieres. Olan Rogers of Final Space has been teasing a December time frame for a season three teaser, so that’s definitely something to look out for.

Until then, Adult Swim will be premiering new seasons of Dream Corp LLC and Gemusetto: Death Beat(s).
