Major Updates On Alf Clausen Suit Against “The Simpsons”
A few updates in Alf Clausen’s age discrimination suit against The Simpsons. A judge has dismissed the age discrimination suit, but has allowed a variety of other allegations to proceed including disability discrimination (Parkinson’s Disease), wrongful discharge, retaliation and unfair business practices.
For the age discrimination suit, the judge noted that Alf didn’t have enough evidence to substantiate his claims against the show’s producers, 20th Century FOX, or anybody else for that matter. As a result, the judge notes that Alf’s firing was a freedom of speech matter and, as such, was justly let go.
