Brad Neely Animated Series Headed To CBS All Access
CBS All Access has ordered a new animated series from the long-dormant Brad Neely called The Harper House.
According to Deadline who broke the exclusive, created by Neely, The Harper House will follow an overconfident female head-of-a-household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself, and for her family of oddballs, after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of an Arkansas small town. To save money, they’ve moved into their inherited Victorian fixer upper, the historic Harper House.
The series joins series orders for Star Trek: Lower Decks and Tooning Out The News, the latter of which we reported on being ordered weeks ago. Neely is the creator of Adult Swim stalwarts like China IL, which makes this yet another Adult Swim producer checking on pastures elsewhere along with the likes of the aforementioned McMahan (Rick and Morty) and his series Lower Decks.
CBS and 219 Productions are producing.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
