WarnerMedia Continues Assimilation Of Digital Properties With Roster Shuffles
Rooster Teeth has been given some new oversight following the departure of Gray Haddock and the rise of Jordan Levin as the new lord of the land at the long-standing streaming service. Just announced, Doreen Copeland has been promoted to VP, Head of Production and Joe Clary and Sean Hinz to co-heads of animation.
Copeland will oversee physical production at Rooster Teeth while Joe Clary and Sean Hinz will oversee the production of the litany of original animated series that Rooster Teeth currently produces including HBO MAX’s gen: Lock, RWBY, Red vs Blue and more. The seventh volume of RWBY is currently streaming on RoosterTeeth.com.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
