Almost 15 years after Triumph the Insult Comic Dog would rehearse award show banter with the late Ric Ocasek, it’s amazing how long Triumph has been around to poop on everybody. Conan O’Brien has learned the hard way recently that not all puppet characters are created equally, but his co-creation with Rob Smigel has lived on longer than any dog that I’ve ever known.
