Watch: “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons” Create Most Buzz At The Emmys 2019
Despite the fact that neither show’s awards were presented on the actual Emmys and instead reserved for the much quieter Creative Arts Emmys, The Simpsons and Family Guy were both spotted during last night’s awards ceremony. While Alex Borstein and Seth MacFarlane from Family Guy fame walked the red carpet, it was their animated counterparts that made quite a bit more noise in a short commercial teasing previous Emmy award winners Bill Cosby and Roseanne. Homer Simpson also took the stage for the Emmys in a bit that you can see below.
Both are merely appetizers for the Sunday, September 29th season premieres of both The Simpsons and Family Guy in which you can get more information about here.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
