“South Park” Season 22 Gets UK Premiere Date

South Park season 22 will premiere on Comedy Central UK, Thursday September 27th at 10pm.
Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park features the breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny misadventures of four foul-mouthed, trouble making young boys in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers.
Our Take
Color us impressed! Usually, South Park is aired three days after it’s American premiere date, now it’s just hours later. This is a good thing.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
