“Our Cartoon President” Trailer Arrives With Security Detail For Showtime
This show looks better and better.
Stephen Colbert is no stranger to animation as the Late Night host has an impressive resume in this arena with stops at Venture Bros., TV Funhouse, and BoJack Horseman so it’s not strange that Stephen would have a vested interest in promoting his own executive-produced effort set to premiere soon on Showtime.
It’s called Our Cartoon President, and although Stephen doesn’t appear to have any starring roles, it’s his show having been inspired by a recurring segment from his late night talk show the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Jeff Berman voices the role of Donald Trump and Gabriel Gundacker is Stephen Miller. Yes, you’ll see from the trailer just about all the crazy characters that run these United States will be accounted for and the producers have even managed to throw in some wacky figures from FOX News.
In this parallel cartoon universe, the Commander-in-Chief opens the White House doors for an “all access” look at a typical day in the life of the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Don’t miss the series premiere of Our Cartoon President Sunday, February 11th 8 PM ET/PT with a sneak peek onDemand happening January 28th.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
