Today Loren Bouchard and Jon Benjamin are significant names when it comes to adult animation thanks to the wildly popular Bob’s Burgers. However, the pair has a long history together that stretches back to Dr. Katz with their most successful endeavor being 1999’s Home Movies until the FOX series came along, but, in 2002 Bouchard created this new series and brought his good friend along. Not the first or the last time the team would fail at launching a new adult cartoon.
Saddle Rash was set in the Old West, starred and narrated by Benjamin. Despite a talented cast and crew that included the likes of Sarah Silverman, the show never made it past one pilot episode. Eventually, Bouchard and Benjamin found their groove so, we can’t be too upset about losing out on this one.
