Mondo Picks Up English Dub of “LastMan”

This looks KILLER.

Unlike every network on traditional/cable television, it’s streaming services like Netflix, Funimation, and Netflix that have the balls to pick up adult animation that isn’t just comedy, and that continues with this latest news.

Mondo Media has announced that they will be producing the English dub adaptation of LastMan with Bill Schultz (The Simpsons) doing the translation of the French-produced and animated quarter-hour 26-episode series slated to premiere on VRV sometime later this year.

LastMan is actually a prequel of the graphic novel series of the same name set 10 years before that sees MMA/boxing practitioner Richard Aldana be the guardian of Siri against a crazy cult who are hell-bent on sacrificing the girl for some bizarre reason.

It looks killer, and I’m loving Mondo Media since Brendan Burch has taken over. You can tell his vision for the VRV channel is there and we could be in for a network that gets powerful sooner rather than later.

Error happened.
