10 Times Other Broadcast Networks Tried To Beat “The Simpsons” But Failed Miserably
Together with Home Movies, Dilbert was the now defunct UPN’s attempt at getting a chunk of the animated comedy boom that showed up in the late 90’s. The Emmy-winning series was the network’s best weapon at taking a chunk of the “working class man” demographic that The Simpsons still keeps to this day and maybe upscale it a bit towards the growing dot-com working class. That didn’t happen, despite a pretty excellent cast that included Daniel Stern, Jason Alexander, and Chris Elliott and instead, the show was canned after only two seasons.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
