Ratings Are In 3/20/17: “The Simpsons” Go Home Show For March Strong
And we preview what’s coming this weekend.
The ratings are in, and with the last episode of The Simpsons for the month of March, we got a decent showing for all with Family Guy being tops. According to Variety:
A new “Bob’s Burgers” on Fox notched a 0.8 in the demo and 1.95 million viewers. “The Simpsons” followed with a 1.0 and 2.34 million. “Family Guy” ruled the Fox roost with a 1.1 demo rating and 2.37 million viewers.
This weekend coming up we have a full hour of Bob’s Burgers on tap followed by a brand-new episode of Family Guy so it will be interesting to see if FOX’s other Emmy-winning series can save face while the big guy takes the week off.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
