Game News Roundup: “Archer” Goes Rock Band; South Park: The Fractured But Whole Controversy Cleared Up
It’s one of those good news, bad news deals.
I honestly had no idea people still played Rock Band or Guitar Hero anymore, but apparently, people do. So fans that still hold on to this relic of gaming’s past will be happy to know that as part of today’s game update, Sterling Archer will be making a guest appearance in Rock Band 4 where he will be taking the stage and pantomiming the hit Kenny Loggins song, “Danger Zone”. You can check out a trailer below and try your best not to giggle like crazy seeing Sterling dance on stage.:
The eighth season of Archer is slated to premiere on FXX on April 5th, check your local listings.
Earlier this week there was a rumor going around that Nintendo Switch was getting South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Well guess what, sorry Nintendo fans, but it ain’t happenin’. Don’t act surprised, Nintendo hasn’t received any good third party games in about 20 years, so really I don’t know how this one gained any traction at all.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is slated to release for game consoles somewhere between now and the end of the world.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
