NYCC 2016: SuperMansion Christmas Special and other news

A comic book is coming, too!

Turns out, we’re getting new SuperMansion sooner rather than later! According to cast and producers at the panel yesterday at NYCC, we’re getting a Christmas special.

It’s called SuperMansion: War on Christmas, and it will feature Gary Anthony Williams (TMNT2) and Jim Parsons playing the roles of “Santa” and “Mr. Skibumpers” respectively.

According to IGN.com, SuperMansion: War On Christmas will focus on a dysfunctional group of self-righteous superheroes, The League of Freedom, who can’t agree on anything, but must band together to save Christmas when an interstellar imp, Mr. Skibumpers (Parsons), unleashes a real-life Santa Claus (Williams) who experiences an existential crisis. Ultimately, the team comes to understand that their differences of opinion are what the holiday spirit is all about.

Premiering on December 8th only on Crackle, SuperMansion: War On Christmas will see the return of Bryan Cranston, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Green, Jillian Bell, Dan Stevens, and Anton Yelchin in one of his final roles before the young actor’s death.
