MTV is “Owning It” with new web series

The artist formerly known as Music Television has officially uploaded a bunch of episodes for a new web animated series called Owning It.
According to MTV.com, Owning It, is mixing first person interview footage with surreal animation, “Owning it” is an eight episode online docu-series that explores internet subcultures and the proud people who create them. Tune in to explore communities who create whisper videos for relaxation, band together to stop porn addiction, and even implant electronic devices into their own bodies. Premieres on youtube.com/MTV.
Earlier this year, MTV had premiered a new sketch series called Greatest Party Story Ever which is currently in production for a second season. Altogether, MTV has been ramping up it’s animated slate, but we’re certainly a far cry from the network’s animated heyday featuring the likes of Daria, Aeon Flux, and more.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
