Nickelodeon to “Spot Us” Two New Episodes of Spongebob Squarepants Next Wednesday
Not sure if this is a permanent move because lately new episodes of Spongebob Squarepants airs on Friday Nights, but I guess Nickelodeon wanted to get a jump on things.
Reason being is because the network has released a new promo for two new episodes of Spongebob Squarepants to air next Wednesday @ 7 pm ET/PT, only on Nickelodeon. The two episodes are called “Patrick! the Game” and “The Sewers of Bikini Bottom” and you can get a first-look down below:
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
