Film Roman purchased by Waterman
Film Roman Studios has announced that they had been acquired by Waterman Entertainment on a sale from Starz Entertainment for an undisclosed sum.
While Film Roman will no longer be a part of Starz, they will continue to do business, but the production studio for The Simpsons is looking to do this as a way to finance new IP and more support to finance projects. What those projects are? That is unknown as of now, but who cares? Just keep doing The Simpsons.
What I’m wondering is when we watch future episodes of The Simpsons, whose name will be on there? Waterman’s or Roman’s?
THR has more on the story.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
