Adult Swim and DeviantArt team up for Rick and Morty contest
Ever since the first season, Rick and Morty has had countless, and I mean countless submissions from fans all over the world submitting fan arts of all shapes and styles. Paints, charcoals, hell we even did a list of 10 from Tumblr and that was BEFORE the popularity of the show really took off.
So, it makes perfect sense that DeviantArt and Adult Swim would team up for a contest where fans can submit artwork inspired by the network’s now flagship series Rick and Morty. All submissions will be seen by executive producer Justin Roiland who will then judge contestants vying for all sorts of prizes like cash prizes, DeviantArt Points, and an Adult Swim grab bag.
Go here to learn more about taking part in the contest, and remember that Rick and Morty airs Sunday Nights @ 11:30 pm ET/PT, only on Adult Swim.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
