Even ‘Family Guy’ Actor Patrick Warburton Gets Offended By Some of the Show’s Jokes
Breaking News: Family Guy can sometimes be offensive. Just ask Patrick Warburton, the voice of Joe Swanson on the show.
Although he told HuffPost Live that he’s generally “okay with everything” on the show, he is sometimes rubbed the wrong way when it comes to the series’ religious jokes – especially one in particular.
He decline to give details on the offending line, only saying it was “the most offensive thing I’d ever seen ever in any form of media towards Christians.”
“It was something that was so offensive that I said, ‘If that’s in the show, I can’t do this episode. Put it in another fucking episode that I’m not in,’” he said. “We all wonder if we have a line that can be crossed, and I just discovered there is actually a line with me.”
But some of the complainers that clamor for the show to be yanked off the air can take note of Warburton’s solution: “We turn it off in our house every now then then, too, when it gets just too sacrilegious.” Interestingly, one of those complainers is Warburton’s own mother, who happens to be a member of the notorious Parents Television Council (PTC). I guess the apple falls far, but not too far, from the tree.
Puddy probably thinks Seth MacFarlane is going to hell too, right?

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
