Someone Got a Bart-Simpson-as-Drake Tattoo, Because Poor Decisions

I spent a lot of time pondering the perfect unique tattoo. I wanted something very few people had, as well as something I wouldn’t get sick of and want removed or changed at some point in the future.

That’s why, after several years, I decided the most unique tattoo idea would be not getting one at all. And I can now say I’m in the ever-decreasing, almost minority population of folks whose skin remains inkless. Go me.

Perhaps this poor, unknown bastard should have taken the same approach, but instead they decided to get a tattoo of Bart Simpson as the rapper/producer/actor/super-douche Drake. (Or is it a tattoo of Drake as Bart?) There are several things wrong with this:

First: Drake? Really? I get that he’s a famous artist (notice I didn’t say “musician”), but he’s also still the kid from Degrassi, and as recently as a few years ago, was involved in more drama than a Lifetime movie. He was (and probably still is) an adult who has middle school-level fights.

Second: If someone is going to get a Simpsons tattoo, at least make it a character that has actually appeared on the show. Not some awkward homemade hybrid.

Third: What the hell is the connection between the two? If the answer is “I just like both of them,” then the logic was flawed from the get-go. I love beer and I love cereal, but I’m not about to replace my milk with Shinerbock. Some things just don’t mix. (Or do they…?)

I’m all for the concept of tattoos (I’m engaged to a chick with numerous ones), but let this story be a cautionary tale for anyone looking to get inked for the first time. Think before you act, people. For the love of Jebediah Springfield, think.
