Watch this Interview with a Spot-On Peter Griffin ‘Family Guy’ Cosplayer
A while back we posted a video of Robert Franzese, a Peter Griffin cosplayer & impersonator, at an Allentown Comic-Con event. We’ve seen a ton of cosplayers of all kinds in our work, but this guy was 100% the real deal. (Or at least as real as someone pretending to be a fictitious person can get.)
In addition to looking & dressing the part, Franzese also does the signature voice & New England accent, and liberally uses Peter’s common lines & phrases. And, as a NYCC 2014 interview video that was recently posted shows, Robert is also quite quick with his comments and responses to convention goers. In the clip, Franzese also shows off a couple other impressions, mingles with fans, and discusses his reasons for occasionally becoming the Griffin patriarch – reasons that should ring true for cosplayers of all types.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
