Review: Regular Show ”Married and Broke”

Starla and Muscle Man enter a reality show competition so as to earn money to pay for a rather lavish wedding. After a rousing few games, the couple end up in second place to another pair claiming to be Americans. Unfortunately, their cover is blown and as such are disqualified from the competition. Meanwhile, the rest of the park employees end up having to burn their house to the ground after being overrun by ants and their ant-lord.

You know what sucks about this episode besides the main plot? The fact that the last 30 seconds was WAY better than the rest of the episode. We essentially got yet ANOTHER competition episode, and I think the ones involving reality shows are getting stale at this juncture. As a matter of fact, I think Regular Show has done one or two TV tropes to go along with the 10,000 competition story lines. I would have much rather had seen more of the ants-aliens! Gimme 12 minutes of that and I’ll take it!
