Game Review: Rick and Morty’s “Jerry’s Game”
This game is the exact opposite of Rick and Morty.
If you’re like most of the writers at BubbleBlabber, you love Rick and Morty. Just imagine how happy we were when we were getting a game based on the show! Well, that’s a little misleading, because it’s a game based on the game that Jerry plays. Let’s get into the appropriately titled, “Jerry’s Game.”
There isn’t a lot going on here. You pop balloons. Then you get achievement screens. Then you pop more Balloons. The cycle repeats itself. Want to know what’s even funnier than all of that? You get those same achievements no matter how many times you pop that set amount of balloons. I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve popped about 1500 balloons, only because I wanted to see if there was a point to this game. You would think that the game would speed up a bit, giving you a lot of this:
Yeah, you guessed it. You get a lot of this, instead:
To be honest, I am not really happy with how this turned out. I know why this was released, and it was kind of a troll release to show the game that Jerry plays. Unfortunately, there really isn’t much here. In fact, I am reaching really deep for a compliment. I guess it’s good that the balloons pop when you hit it? Listen, don’t bother with this game. It’s fun for about five minutes, but you’ll end up going back to Robot Unicorn Attack.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
