Comics Review: Simpsons Illustrated #14

You know what was great about this issue of Illustrated? ”All Fired Up” felt like a half a dozen one-shots because for the most part we were getting a bunch of funny short stories about a number of different characters that aren’t just Bart or just Homer or the rest of The Simpson Family. We had Selma, Chief Wiggum, Willie, you name it and chances are your favorite character from the Simpsons universe very well could be accounted for here. I am probably just being sarcastic, but it’s not far off.

The two Bart strips at the end are kind of just tossed in there, and felt more like the bonus stories to ”All Fired Up”. Neither were particularly funny and I would have preferred the continued variety. In any case, Illustrated #14 is a pretty good buy all things considered.
