Shorts Review: WWE Slam City “Cold…Stone Cold”
I didn’t know that the WWE can put something that can be any form of entertaining anymore.
I am going to put this out there right away. This show is funny as shit. However, this is geared towards the children, because it’s mostly slapstick humor, with not a lot of substance. The premise is take a scenario, like Stone Cold Steve Austin walking in to the Starshmucks that Alberto del Rio works at, and he wants two iced coffee’s that are stone cold. So, the rest of the episode is del Rio trying to make the coffee so cold, that Stone Cold has ice breath.
At it’s heart, this is mindless humor designed to take up a couple minutes of time. It’s good for laughs, as long as you keep that in mind. I mean, come on, it’s two minutes long. My only gripes are, why not start at the beginning? Why are all of these wrestlers working shitty jobs? Well, that’s because The Finisher took over the WWE, and fired everyone. But you wouldn’t know that, because Nicktoons decided to start past the third episode. The other complaint I have, is why couldn’t the wrestlers voice their own characters? It’s not like it’s that hard to record audio that amounts to about a minute. Those are nit picky, though. The animation is fresh, and the simplistic story is awesome. This is a jackpot to get the kids to watch. I’m just not sure if this is something that many older kids and adults will watch.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
