Review: Squidbillies ‘Bunker Down, You Hairy Dog!’

Early builds a bomb shelter, but after a crazy Friday Night, he’s got no rations to load up in the event of a disaster. Unfortunately, the local church doesn’t hep worth a shit. The Sheriff helps out by donating some cobbler, but Early eats it in seconds. Problem is, Early’s got bigger fish to fry as he owes a TON of money on what he spent on the shelter, and the Sheriff is threatening to throw him out if he doesn’t get it paid for. However, instead of waiting for the banks to come and get HIM, Early decides to take the fight to the banks and cause them to collapse over night. From printing fake money and pissing in the banks’ water, to releasing snakes in throughout downtown, Early looks set to ride shit out. Early holes up in his bunker, but snakes get in and start taking over the bunker faster than anyone’s business.

We’ve seen TONS of bomb shelter plots in the past, but you throw in some snakes it makes things a bit more fun. The plot seemed pretty firm early on, but got somewhat convoluted near the end. I’m not sure what’s going on with Glenn right now, like if he’s involved in some sort of an arc that could play itself out in future episodes, but even that strand really went nowhere.
