‘Halloween Comic Fest’ announced! And it sounds AWESOME!
Wish you could get more free shit on Halloween that isn’t JUST candy? Don’t get me wrong, I love candy too, but all of that shit is 1/2 price the morning after anyway. So really, the effort of trick-or-treating is kind of wasted, however I do enjoy dressing up from time to time. Fortunately, comic book stores want to offer an alternative to candy for Halloween at the just-right cost of FREE!
HalloweenComicfest.com has announced that comic book stores around the United States will be launching a ‘Halloween Comic Fest’ which kicks off this year! How it works is, when you go trick-or-treating this year, head on over to your local comic book shop and made available will be miniature Halloween-themed comics featuring some of your favorite studios like Boom!, Dark Horse, IDW, Viz Media, and more! These mini-packs are available for pre-order starting June 25th. Seven mini-packs will be available, but publishers like DC and Marvel Comics will also be offering 12 FULL SIZED comics for free, probably similar to the Free Comic Book Day-esque issues we get now.
Get a full listing of the comics mini-packs here as well as a list of the full sized comics here. Check out the full web site for ‘Halloween Comic Fest’ here!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
