Review: Johnny Test “Johnny Goes Viral”
Spoilers Below
Johnny Test is a rather smart dude, a bit smarter than usual. Dukey starts to believe that something’s wrong so obviously the Twins are blamed for making Johnny smart and yea they fess up to the whole thing. Turns out the Twins attached a chip to the back of Johnny’s head which gives him access to all of the world’s knowledge. Johnny loves his new powers so he decides to test them out at the local karate dojo. ON his first day Johnny beats the shit out of everyone inside and earns a rainbow belt in the process. Next he takes Dukey to a French restaurant and orders up some ice cream followed by a stop at the sports store. Soon, Johnny starts to use his powers for evil by using illegally downloaded music to dance for a viewing (and paying) audience. Eventually, Johnny catches a virus which causes his chip to reboot. Thankfully, Dukey snatches the chip before it does any real damage and Johnny returns the infected chip to the Twins whom then give the chip to the General. Soon, the General decides to test out the chip but the virus kicks in and he hits a nuke button. Johnny comes clean that it was all of his fault so he opts to download himself into the General’s brain to destroy the virus. The Twins upload an anti-virus, but the battle between Johnny and the Virus comes to a standstill. Dukey uploads himself as well and decides to help which gives Johnny enough time to fight back and score a victory. The General is back to normal, and everything is good to go for Mr. Test.
I really enjoyed tonight’s episode in that it perhaps taught younger ones a valuable lesson…if something sounds too good to be true on the internet then chances are it is. You may even get lucky and dodge a few bullets, but if you are rocking any sort of a Windows machine then you may want to make sure you have anti-virus and all that jazz otherwise you could be infected. I have a Chromebook, so I don’t have to worry about that shit. Kudos to the writers of the show for making sure today’s kids are informed about potential dangers lurking in cyberspace and still having a good time in doing so.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
